What is an APA?

Rather than just assuming that all guests want to run the generator non-stop to keep the boat icy cool, fancy meals and loads of alcohol included, we do an “advanced provisioning allowance (APA)” for food, drink and fuel to keep the base price low.  That way our guests get to choose if they are eating surf and turf overnight or if they want to keep it a bit more in the grilled chicken with potatoes range.

APA break down:

$1000 fuel

$250 per person food

$250 per person alcohol (optional)

Preference forms are sent out a few weeks before the trip.  Food / drink / fuel costs are tracked with receipts. Guests only pay for what they drink (billed at our local cost with no mark up by can for beer, soda, juice, etc, by ounce on liquor) If the requested provisions exceed the APA deposit the remaining balance is settled on the last day of charter.

If at the end of the charter the APA has not been depleted, funds are returned within 7 business days of the chapter completion.

In short, If guests aren’t big drinkers, want simpler meals or want to spend most of the time fishing / hunting for food they can really keep that food cost low and get a nice chunk of it back at the end of the trip.

Not included in the base or APA : flights, travel insurance and crew gratuity (although we can have this added as a pre-pay option), and eating out at local restaurants three times.

How to book :

NADIYA II adventures are $2k down to book with 50% of the remaining balance due four months from the trip start date and then the final 50% and the APA deposit due 10 business days before trip start date.  All payments are handled through quickbooks and paid either electronically with Credit Card, ACH or by mailing checks.  All deposits are non-refundable but you can move your trip dates at anytime up until 4 months out from the trip start date without penalty.

Let’s go on an adventure!?
